"You're a sweet boy," Virginia murmured, brushing her fingertips against
his lips and smiling at him. Leaning in close, she looked like she was
almost about to kiss him before she pressed a strawberry between his lips
instead. "Have a bite, they're delicious."
Taking the flowers, she put water in the bottom before carefully arranging
them. Turning on her heels, she carried the vase almost carelessly between
finger and thumb as she headed towards the stairs.
"I think I have just the right place for them, coming?" Virginia asked over
her shoulder. "And bring the strawberries."
