Ed was kind of nervous. This was, afterall, potentially the livng out of nearly every fantasy he'd had since puberty. There was always the chance with Virginia that she was just teasing him again but he always held out the hope that this time that wouldn't be the case.
Dressed in just jeans and a t-shirt- so that it looked like he actually might really be helping her with yardwork- he caught a glimpse of her through the window licking the juices of something off her fingers. Taking a deep breath as she opened the door he smiled and walked in after her, unable to take his eyes off her figure.
"Of course," he said, handing her the flowers. It was always rude to visit someone without bringing a gift, according to his mother, and he strove to be polite. "I remember you said something years ago about how you thought they always looked better when out of season and I managed to find a place that had some."
