Robert rarely thought about what it must have been like for Virginia, to have a child run away at such a young age after her husband had all but run away as well. He could see how the fear of anything happening to Corry would give her nightmares. Humming softly he continued to stroke her hair, trying to calm her.

"I think Corry would be fine if you called to check up on her," Robert said. Especially if Virginia admitted she had a nightmare and was worried. He didn't know if she would say anything like that but if she did it would certainly help humanize her to Corry. "Why don't you give her a call?"
