"I'd rather see you like this than not see you at all," Robert murmured.
His hand reached up to run his fingers through her hair, doing his best to
sooth her. He didn't know what could have frightened or upset his wife so
much but he wanted to do whatever he could to make it better. What was the
point of him being here if he couldn't make his wife happy?
"But it was just a dream. Whatever it was, it's not happening right now,"
he continued to reassure her. It was tempting to use his power on her but
she wouldn't appreciate it. Besides, he should be able to comfort his own
wife without his abilities.
